Dr. Peterson
Dr. Peterson is a specialist in sexual health education and promotion, providing educational services on a wide range of sexuality and gender topics. He is also a licensed psychologist providing assessment and treatment services (through the Flexman Clinic - see below) related to sexual dysfunction, sexual trauma, sexual compulsive behavior, sex offender assessment and transgender issues.

After he graduated from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology in 1984, Dr. Peterson was the last Clinical Fellow trained by the pioneer sex researcher William Masters of the Masters and Johnson Institute (as described in Thomas Maier's 2009 book "Masters of Sex"). For twenty years, he was considered the "sex professor" at Wright State University with appointments to Schools of Medicine and Psychology as well as the College of Business and the College of Education and Human Services.

He is currently faculty with the Department of Specialty Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of Ohio University. He was an Associate Editor of Innovations in Clinical Practice: Focus on Sexual Health (2007) and co-author of Healthy, Joyful sexuality: Fundamental Education (2010 - published in India). He is currently completing The New Sexual Health: Understanding, Accepting and Celebrating Your Sexual Self. He is the Health Behavior Coordinator at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio and conducts a clinical Sexual Health Program at the Flexman Clinic, Dayton, Ohio.
